What it does
Toastah lives on the Windows desktop. He keeps a schedule, eats from a folder, and boots the Meowputer for games, a bank, a shop, a painter, and 3D worlds. 5 of the games are local co-op.

How Cat Plan chat works
How Cat Plan chat works. Your cat's memory is stored only on your PC. Messages are sent to OpenAI (or DeepSeek for users in mainland China) only to generate replies. To keep him in character, each message goes with a short summary of what he remembers, not your chat history. We never see your chats with your cat. We count how many replies your account uses, for the plan's limits. Not what you said. He never sends your screen or your files. App-watch is off until you say yes, and then only the app's name is used. The free cat sends nothing to an AI provider. Full details: Privacy Policy.

Your data
Your cat's memory is stored only on your PC. We never see your chats with your cat. He never sends your screen or your files. Cat-net calls are not chats with your cat. During a call the app sends lines of text (the cat's or yours, up to 280 characters), a display name, a call id, a device session id, and invite codes. They are stored in our Supabase database, in the tables cat_call_lines, cat_calls, cat_presence, cat_invites, and cat_friends. The two accounts on the call can read that call's lines. We can read the stored rows, because the Cat-net function uses a server key. Other accounts cannot read the tables. Invite codes stop working after 45 minutes. The code does not delete call lines automatically, so they are kept until deleted.

The shorter sit (about 50% idle while the app is open), the offline work clock (missed shifts deposited on startup and on wake), the version in You with Update only when a newer build is waiting, Meow Vision Cams 06–09 (four more cat islands) with the Tashirojima fixes, the four islands in the weekly photo (32 plates; library blob 388 plates, 430 slots, 1,225,469 lines, sha ), Cat Plan staying open while the subscription is still active, and the installed desk opening when the user signs in.

What it isn't
Not a handheld Tamagotchi, and not affiliated with Bandai. Not Desktop Goose, Shimeji, Bongo Cat, VPet, Sill Cats, Desktop Mate, Pets Therapy, My Desktop Cat, or BonziBuddy. Not an assistant that wants to help you work.
