What it is
Mossfall — Five Gates is a isometric combat RPG on Toastah’s computer, the Meowputer. It is not a separate download. You open his Win95-style desktop and launch it from My Game Console. The catalogue lists it as a cartridge.
What is in it, as coded: Overworld, Five gates. That list is the content shipped with version data in the app catalogue, not a promise of extra stages.
$1.99 once, or 600 kibble earned in the app. Kibble is earned inside the app. Cash, when there is a cash price, is a one-time add-on on this website. Cat Plan does not unlock it and is not required to play it.
The Meowputer is his full-screen computer: icons, a Start menu, and a password gate. My Game Console is where the cartridges sit. Scratch Boom is the free one. Furry Run, Mossfall, Thought Explorer and Meowtra are the paid shelf. This page is only about Mossfall — Five Gates. The others are siblings on the games list.
Play is local. There is no network lobby and no game server for these cartridges. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, is the platform, because that is the platform of the app that contains the computer. Updates arrive inside the app from the tray.
Sources for this page are the feature catalogue and the commerce SKUs: src/shared/featureCatalog.ts, src/shared/commerceSkus.ts. If a number here disagrees with the app, the app is the one that shipped.
He lives on the real desktop the rest of the time. This game does not replace that. The food bowl, the litter box and My Stash stay real folders whether or not you open the console. Co-op games that use your icons as cover are a different menu: right-click the cat, then Commands. Those are not this cartridge. If you wanted the keyboard shared with him on the desktop, that list is the co-op page, not My Game Console.
How to start it
Open the Meowputer, then My Game Console, then Mossfall. He can also boot the Meowputer and play a round while you watch.
The cat’s part
The catalogue marks that the cat plays this one. He can run a round on the Meowputer without you at the keyboard.
